The consideration of ecocide as an international crime is the single most powerful measure due to enlarged loss of biodiversity around the world and lack of reversing technique to compensate the system failure which helps to emphasise that the security of our planet must be guaranteed on an international scale. This article explains the need to consider ecocide as an international crime by breaking down the Panel’s definition, explaining the national and international stance on enviornment protection and the aim behind the introduction of ecocide.
